Artiom Krylov and Stanislav Tkachev built the Apex Mechs app (the "Service"). The Service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. Apex Mechs is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store.

The Service does not display advertising. We do not use advertising networks, we do not run ad tracking, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers.

This page informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information for anyone who uses the Service. If you choose to use the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible at bearbob.studio, unless otherwise defined here.

No account, no sign-up

The Service does not ask you to register. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, photos or contacts. When the Service starts, it creates an anonymous identifier through Firebase Authentication. That identifier is a random string used to keep your progress, rating and purchases attached to your installation. It is not linked to your identity and cannot be used by us to find out who you are.

Information Collection and Use

The Service collects the following:

• Gameplay and progress — your army, rating, league, unlocked commanders and cards, and battle results, so that your progress survives restarts and the ranked ladder can work.
• Recorded battles — when you win, the Service may upload a recording of your army and how you played it, so that other players can face it as an opponent. The recording contains your in-game nickname and your army composition, and nothing personal.
• Technical and usage data — device model, operating system version, language, region, app version, IP address, crash reports, performance data and anonymous statistics about which screens and features are used, so that we can fix crashes and improve the Service.
• Purchases — if you buy something, the store tells us that the purchase happened and what was bought, so that we can grant the item. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google. We never see and never store your payment card details.

Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect information under its own privacy policy:

• Google Play Services (Android only)
• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Cloud Firestore
• Firebase Remote Config
• Unity Analytics and Unity In-App Purchasing
• Cloudflare R2 — storage for game content and recorded battles

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:

• To facilitate our Service;
• To provide the Service on our behalf;
• To perform Service-related services; or
• To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Deleting Your Data

Write to us at info@bearbob.studio and ask us to delete your data. Please include your in-game nickname so that we can find the right record. We will delete your progress, rating and uploaded battle recordings, and confirm when it is done. We aim to answer within 30 days. Deleting the app from your device removes local data, but does not by itself remove data stored on our side, so please write to us if you want it removed.

Where Data Is Stored

Data is processed on Google and Cloudflare infrastructure and may be stored on servers outside your country. We keep gameplay data for as long as the Service is operated, and crash and analytics data for the retention period set by the respective provider.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is fully secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These external sites are not operated by us, and we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our servers immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page, and material changes will be announced inside the Service.
