By downloading or using Apex Mechs (the "app"), these terms automatically apply to you, so please read them carefully before playing. The app is developed by Artiom Krylov and Stanislav Tkachev and is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
What you may and may not do
You are not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, to translate it into other languages, or to make derivative versions. The app itself, and all trademarks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, belong to Artiom Krylov and Stanislav Tkachev.
Do not use modified clients, automation tools or exploits to gain an advantage in ranked play. We may reset a rating or restrict access to online modes if we find that a result was obtained that way.
Purchases
The app is free to download. It offers optional in-app purchases of in-game currency and item packs. All payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms, and we never see or store your payment card details.
Purchased in-game currency and items are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the app. They have no monetary value outside the app, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be sold or transferred to another account.
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under the refund policy of Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not process payments and therefore cannot issue refunds ourselves. If something went wrong with a purchase, write to us and we will help you sort it out with the store or restore an item that failed to arrive.
Your account and your device
The app does not require registration. Progress is tied to an anonymous identifier created on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you delete the app, change device or clear its data, that progress and any purchases attached to it may be lost, and we may not be able to recover them.
It is your responsibility to keep your phone and your access to the app secure. We recommend you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which removes the software restrictions imposed by the official operating system of your device. Doing so could expose your phone to malware, could compromise its security features, and could mean the app does not work properly or at all.
Connection and charges
Some parts of the app require an active internet connection, over Wi-Fi or over your mobile network. We cannot take responsibility for the app not working at full functionality if you do not have a connection or have no data allowance left. If you use the app outside a Wi-Fi area, the terms of your agreement with your mobile network provider still apply, and you may be charged by them for data while using the app, including roaming charges. By using the app you accept responsibility for those charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have their permission.
We also cannot always take responsibility for the way you use the app: it is your responsibility to keep your device charged and working. If your device runs out of battery and you cannot open the app, we cannot accept responsibility.

Updates and availability
We are committed to making the app as useful and efficient as possible, and we reserve the right to make changes to it, or to change what is offered for sale, at any time and for any reason. We will never charge you for the app or its services without making it very clear exactly what you are paying for.
The app is an online service and is updated regularly. Operating systems change, and we may stop supporting older versions: you may need to download updates to keep playing. We do not promise to keep the app or its online modes running forever, and we may stop providing it or terminate your use of it. Where we can reasonably do so, we will give notice before shutting the service down. Upon any termination, the rights and licences granted to you in these terms end, and you must stop using the app and, if needed, delete it from your device.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions here.
